2 x 5 factorial – 2 thawing rates (rapid and slow) and 5 treatment temperatures (+4, -5, -8, -11, -14C)
Plants held at each treatment temperature 2h
After 2h at designated temperature, 1 group (rapid) removed from freezer and transferred to 4C
