Numbers equate to estimate of actual sales and services ($ millions) derived from each state, with data for a state within each column. For example, $7.91million of Vermont sales are to New Hampshire and $32.67million of New Hampshire sales are to Massachusetts. For this reason, overall regional gross income is the same, however, the amount derived from each state will vary depending on where a state derives its sales and services. For example, sales and services actually within Rhode Island is $242 million, compared to the state gross income of $279 million (some states sell to Rhode Island, but almost a quarter of sales and services from Rhode Island is sold out of state).
