Easiest when plant wants to be vegetative and not reproductive
spring: if stock indoors, no retail conflict
summer: many, outdoor divisions
fall: Geranium, Sedum, Dianthus, Salvia, Sempervivum, Tiarella, Heuchera, others
winter: root cuttings, grasses, division of stock indoors
