The keynote speaker this year will be Adrian Bloom of the famous Blooms family of Norfolk, England.  His father Alan, deceased this past spring, began the famous Blooms of Bressingham nursery and was known as the father of perennials.  Adrian has carried the torch in recent years with perennials, but his earlier background in horticulture was with conifers, plants on which he has written a book.  For the last couple of decades he has been instrumental in the Blooms displays at the Chelsea flower show, winning gold medals.  You may have seen Adrian in one of his frequent appearances on the Victory Garden on television, or in conjunction with the Blooms of Bressingham North America perennials.  At the flower show he will speak on the subject of his latest book, "Creating a Year Round Garden" for both small and large gardens.
